Zoditu graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Creative Writing from George Fox University in Oregon (USA). Having been born in Ethiopia and raised in several different West African nations, she has always had a love and fascination for the African continent.
While at Oxford, she is interested in studying the history of healthcare in Madagascar, specifically looking at traditional healers and their influence on how Malagasy women understand reproductive health. Zoditu intends to apply for medical school after her time at Oxford and hopes to work in East Africa as a physician.
