I hold an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the
Mozambique – Tanzania Centre for Foreign Relations, where my dissertation explored the significance of digital diplomacy in Tanzania.
Prior to Oxford, I engaged in initiatives advancing African development through civil society, private sector collaboration, and diplomatic relations. Notably, I served as the Chief of Staff at the Honorary Consulate of Seychelles in Tanzania, I led the East African Youth Parliament as Speaker, and I represent youth voices at the European Union and World Bank Group in Tanzania. I also coordinate the Commonwealth Youth Council engagements in Tanzania, I serve as the Sustainable Development Goals Champion under the United Nations in Tanzania.
I hold an Executive Board Membership role at Africa Youth Transformation (NGO) and I am a fellow of the Mwalimu Nyerere Pan African Young Leaders Fellowship and the Don Lavoie Political Economy Fellowship.
As an Africa Oxford Initiative Scholar, my MSc in African Studies research will focus on the relevance of precolonial African diplomatic practices for modern African Economic
Diplomacy and contributing to frameworks such as the African Continental Free Trade Area.
Post-MSc, I am working to establish a platform that advocates for sound policy implementation and providing advisory services to bolster international cooperation between Africa and the global community. My long-term commitment to academic exploration is underscored by my plans to return to Oxford for my doctoral research.
In my spare time my personal interests encompass traveling, global arts, culture, fashion, and music.
