I am a Ugandan researcher and development practitioner pursuing an MSc in African Studies at the University of Oxford, where I am an AfOx-Mastercard Foundation Scholar and a member of St Antony’s College. I graduated in Social Sciences from Makerere University with a major in Public Administration and a minor in sociology. My research and professional work focus on health and livelihoods in displaced contexts, with a particular interest in social determinants of health among displaced populations and how society determines health care access among displaced communities. I have worked with Uganda’s Office of the Prime Minister on refugee registration and livelihood programs under the UNHCR refugee project and previously contributed to policy research at UNIFOG and the Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries(MAAIF).
