I have pursued my undergraduate studies at Sciences Po Paris and at King’s College London’s War Studies Department, graduating in International Relations. My bachelor’s thesis entitled “Beyond Electoral Violence: Achieving Peace in Côte d'Ivoire", examined how to measure peace in post-conflict environments. Through MSc African Studies, I look to further deepen my expertise in sub-Saharan African security issues. Therefore, at Oxford, my research will seek to identify the historical patterns and drivers of the recent waves of coups across West Africa and the Sahel. Nonetheless, having previously worked for a cocoa exporting firm in Abidjan, CoЄte d’Ivoire, and having conducted academic research on the political economy of the cocoa industry; I am also keen, to take advantage of my time here, to focus on development economics on the African continent.
