Chiyedza graduated with an LLB Law degree from the University of Bristol in 2023, where she focused on International Law and women’s rights specifically in Southern Africa during her final year. At Oxford, she is an AfOx and Patrick Duncan Scholar. Building on her LLB thesis on traditional leaders and child marriages, she will continue exploring the intersection of gender, religion, law, and power.
Professionally, she has gained practical experience in both commercial law firms and a feminist civil litigation firm, advocating for better laws in sexual assault and promoting gender equality.
