I joined the African Studies Centre at the end of August 2021, having worked previously in OSGA as the Latin American Centre Administrator, as a maternity cover in 2018-19. I have worked in student administration in many different parts of Oxford University, including the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies where I was the Academic Administrator for Undergraduate Studies, the Department of Politics and International Relations as an MPhil/MSc Coordinator, and most recently at Wolfson College as the Student Support & Engagement Officer.
I am responsible for the administration of the MSc in African Studies, assisting with the organisation of areas such as teaching and assessments, and advising our students on practical academic matters.
I also make arrangements for our seminar speakers, organising travel and accommodation, and take care of the day to day running of the African Studies Centre, including the website, and building management and security.
