Muziwethu Ndlovu is a political economist with professional research and consulting experience in international financial architecture reform and international trade facilitation. Muzi has worked at Imani Development on international trade projects across Eastern and Southern Africa. He is currently at the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), which serves as one of the official secretariats for the Think 20 engagement group for this year’s G20, where he focuses on research in global economic governance reform.
Before attending Oxford, Muziwethu completed his academic training at the University of Cape Town, including a student exchange program at the University of Leeds, and he has also studied at the University of the Witwatersrand. For his Master of African Studies, he intends to research the nexus of debt and the polycrisis and its impact on the financing for development agenda.
Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Muzi is a devoted Arsenal fan and spends as many weekends as he can at the Emirates Stadium.
