I am a recent History and Politics graduate of the University of Cambridge, where my undergraduate dissertation focused on the international backing for rebel groups during the Rwandan Civil War, asking whether Britain and Uganda’s roles amounted to an ‘Anglo-Saxon plot’.
I am aiming to further study international intervention in the Great Lakes region, particularly the Rwandan role in the east of the DR Congo in recent years. I am more broadly interested in international intervention and cross-border rebel groups in East Africa and Africa’s Great Lakes region.
