I completed my undergraduate studies in Africana Studies at Pomona College in California, with a focus on critical visual studies and queer theory. I have worked as a programmer and project manager for film festivals and communication projects such as the African Film Festival Inc and Let’s Talk About Water. I am also a visual artist better known as Kuln’Zu , focusing on photography and mixed media collage. I am an AfOx-Masterscard Scholarship Holder.
At Oxford, I am interested in artistic production and cultural organizing to understand shifting notions of gender and sexuality in cities such as Nairobi and Accra.
